Pinhan
Designed as part of the 'Within a Body' project, 'Pinhan' is a thematic modern dance piece that brings Yunus Emre's universal philosophy, spiritual depth, and his love for the created to the stage through contemporary body language. Staged at AKM under the artistic consultancy of MDTistanbul Project Director Beyhan Murphy and with the participation of 13 esteemed choreographers, each artist added their own interpretation based on Yunus Emre's words. 'Pinhan' forms one of the fundamental building blocks of this holistic and interdisciplinary narrative.
Conceptual Framework
The project, bringing the State Opera and Ballet and the independent modern dance sector together on the same stage, reinterpreted Yunus Emre's timeless identity with a young and dynamic artistic vision.
