Arda's Shores - MDT Ankara

World premiered in 2012 by the Ankara State Opera and Ballet, Arda's Shores is a one-act epic that brings the deep-rooted cultural texture and a historical tragedy of the Thrace region to the stage in the language of universal contemporary dance. Transforming the archetypal structure of local memory into a modern narrative, the production carries the conflicts of human nature to international art standards in a corporeal form without deforming traditional lyrical elements.
