Under the Auspices of the T.R. Presidency: The 'Longest Night' Epic
The shared memory and spirit of resistance of a nation were brought to the stage with monumental language and the interdisciplinary harmony of a giant art staff.
The first representation of the 'Longest Night' epic, implemented under the auspices of the T.R. Presidency, was held at the Presidential Complex with the honor of our Honorable President and high-level state protocol. The story of a resistance, an unshakable will, and a rebirth that left deep marks in our social memory was transformed into a monumental stage piece featuring a giant cast of 500 people with the unifying power of music, theater, and dance.

In the project directed by Chief Advisor to the President Fecir Alptekin, advised by Minister of National Education Prof. Dr. Yusuf Tekin, and coordinated by Prof. Dr. İbrahim Sarıtaş; the epic struggle took on a concrete aesthetic with the vision of director Bora Severcan and the production of Volkan Severcan. In this monumental work, which we choreographed, as an extension of our national vision under the umbrella of the General Directorate of State Opera and Ballet; we stood shoulder to shoulder with all the art institutions of our state, especially the Presidential Symphony Orchestra.
Our goal of delivering the national will and historical realities to the masses with the highest aesthetic standards has been proven once again in this work through the collective creation synergy of the entire creative team.
